									My Travels in Britain

		I enjoy travelling and have covered most of England from Land's End to Carlisle and have strayed accross the borders into Wales and Scotland and enjoyed eating in some good restaurants - these are a few of my experiences to date ! When in St.Ives, I have stayed in various guest houses but for the best breakfast, try The Anchorage with Carol and Jim and one of my favourite places to dine in the evening is Hobblers Restaurant on the harbour front. In Bristol, my favourite restaurant for fine food is Howards, near the Nova Scotia pub. The owner, Chris Howard enjoys circulating, chatting and having a drink with guests as the evening develops. A recent "find" is the Merrymouth Inn between Stow-on-the-Wold and Burford run by Tim and Andrew Flaherty - superb value for food and wine.
